I am Priya Prasad. I was born on 11.11.1938, in a small town named Gaya in Bihar, a state in the heartland of India. I had my schooling in my birth place and later moved on to Calcutta, the capital city of the state of West Bengal, for my college education. I completed gradutaion in science from St. Xavier's College Calcutta in 1956. Thereafter I worked in the Steel Plant situtated in Burnpur in West Bengal up to August 1994. I was transferred to The Bokaro Steel Plant thereafter, from where I retired as a General Manager - Coke Ovens and By Products Plant in December 1998.
I reside alternatly in Siliguri, a small town in North Bengal, and Mumbai. I do write some times about things connected with life and also about my friends. Subsequently I will be posting these on this blog and hope that people visiting it will find time to read it. With lots of Love and Good Wishes to one and all.
